Prayer power
What really causes cancer and what makes it so deadly? Beyond tobacco, that is still a difficult question because cancer is many different diseases and scientists still don’t have all the answers. Hmm..
A woman, a breast cancer patient on an operating table is undergoing reconstructive surgery. Four thousand miles away a shamanic leader has been sent the woman’s name, her photo and details about the surgery. Prayer has the power to heal patients from afar. Has science explored the power of distant healing? Or is it inconclusive? Is channeling a Buddhist intention, or reki energy or consulting shamanic leaders same as praying to God with your own beliefs? And how do you determine if it was the power of distant healing, your own true prayers that made the patient well or something else? Personally I have learned that prayers, whatever kind work only when backed with action.
Something related to distant healing, although I think what you read beyond this is more of a hoax.If you are in the US watching Zee TV, you’d probably find names like Peer Syed Sahib, Pundit Maharaj and Ajmeri Baba familiar. Their frenzy commercials are aired between every breaks almost all day and they claim
'100% guaranted results’ for all your problems. Any kind of problems, you name it- martial, business, health, kids troubling their parents (no kidding here!), can’t marry the person you love (o my gosh), whatever. How insane is that? Some of these crooks (shall I call ‘em so?) are even becoming sole sponsors of certain shows and every other day they have a new ad. All 3 of these are seemingly sitting in London. Do people actually call them to resolve their problems over the phone (jet age eh?). Wonder how they charge their clients, sure they take their credit card numbers (scary business, I'd say). I seriously think such hoax ads should be banned.
