Blog-O-Mania

Im amazed to see so many people around blogging away either to communicate, ramble, display their creativity, or simply have fun. Whatever be our reasons, lets just keep writing folks..

Here's a short list (in no particular order) of what my fellow bloggers/friends on BlogSpot have to offer:

Whimsical, random and insightful cogitation of a dear friend, the name says all about his ramblings Arbitrary musings.

For a Daily dose of new faith and inspiration visit Arif's Sacred Space. Arif also has his Notes To All (with his handsome pictures) where he likes to invite people so profusely :)

Subtle personal tid-bits combined with everyday topics like love, hatred, feelings, relationships, friends, men, women, are well discussed at Keshi's Viva Forever with an open mind.

For spiritual, devotional and poetic essence that lures the heart, Bhaaluu, the thinker's spot is a must read. I promise a visit to his blog is sure to lift your spirits above the ordinary tasks of the day.

Catch the Mills and Boons flavia at K-Band's narration of his accounts with his virtual comrades.

For the most popular indiatimes gossip and updates on itzens, visit Sebia's Eternal Bliss which bagged 243 comments for the V-day party post phewww! Sebia is also a talented poetess.

Classy offers us lovely stories in beautifully woven words. Truly Intense Depths.

De.ville's Words is a creative spot with fancy drawings and imagery writings.

When you are feeling blue or anxious tune in to Ashes Introduction. He talks about about life's esoteric ways rather figuratively. Poetry is the essence of his creative mind.

Symphony's Blue Bells is a perfect hang out place for folks who've lost touch with her. I'm not sure why her space is lying dormant off late.

Creeping King's Your Kingdom is one smart and witty corner with timely humorous pun-posts on IT superstars. Currently the king is on a binge to list 41 other things on his laundry list. Oh and as I write this, I see he just knocked some more f(p)un :)

For thoughtful posts, and light entertainment visit Qzine's and Janice's blogspace.

Philosophical and theological discourses in 10 subsequent postings by Cynosure in his Today's Events. Think he preached enuff gyaan, hes taken on an undue hiatus leaving his events pre-dated.

And finally there's Saby who calls himself a nutty creep, Imnutsincaps for he can chew on the lewdest topics along with some genuine True Confessions. His commenting skills are critical marked with sarcasm either loved or hated by his fellow bloggers.

New Blogs on my referral that I still need to visit and form an opinion on -

Citrus
Southpaw
Word_smith
may add to this list........

Diamonds are a girl's best friend

A kiss on the hand may be quite continental
but diamonds are a girl's best friend.
A kiss may be grand but it won't pay the rental
on your humble flat, or help you at the automat.
Men grow cold as girls grow old
and we all lose our charms in the end.
But square-cut or pear-shaped
these rocks don't lose their shape
Diamonds are a girl's best friend
...Tiffany's ... Cartier...
Talk to me, Harry, Winston, tell me all about it!
There may come a time when a lass needs a lawyer
but diamonds are a girl's best friend.
There may come a time when a hard-boiled employer
thinks you're awful nice
but get that ice or else no dice.
He's your guy when stocks are high
but beware when they start to descend,
It's then that those louses go back to their spouses
Diamonds are a girl's best friend.
I've heard of affairs that are strictly platonic
but diamonds are a girl's best friend,
and I think affairs that you must keep liaisonic
are better bets if little pets get big bag gifts.
Time rolls on and youth is gone
and you can't straighten up when you bend
but stiff back or stiff knees
you stand straight at Tiffany's
Diamonds... Diamonds...
- I don't mean rock salt -
but Diamonds, Are A Girl's Best Friends

If that to be true. I wonder, what's a guy's best friend?

At Lunch!

Lunch? Who has time to take a break in the middle of the day? People who slurp instant soup between emails at their desks and occasionally step out at lunch, snicker at "lunchers" as being unproductive. For lunch, of course, is something to do while doing something else.

I walked into a park in the middle of this great and truly busy city, I was surprised to see so many people. Didn't they have jobs? The sound of the traffic was replaced with chirping birds, scattered cell phone chats and musicians playing soft jazz on some bench. The acoustics were interstng.

Lunchtime is also a great opportunity to catch up on errands, for others it's a time to catch up on sleep. Located inside the Empire State Building is MetroNaps, where for $14 you can escape the city that never sleeps and take a 20-minute nap inside a "globular plastic cocoon filled with ambient sounds" like reverberating waves combined with lights and vibration.

Some companies now offer in house Yoga classes for their employees. Just like school, when not only did we get a recess, but we needed one. After burning off steam on the monkey bars, we'd return to class ready to learn. Have we grown out of those needs? Taking a lunch, I've now learned, cuts down on those afternoon yawns and makes you more productive.

At Lunchisfun.com people write in how they spent their lunch break. Skimming through entries, I found an an interesting one which read, "Reheated pizza from a few nights ago and coke while I finalize travel arrangements for my boss. Going to take a walk later, which will upgrade the lunch experience with a sunshine dessert." Hmm, had I passed this person in the park?

Just as I was about to take off my shoes and join a Frisbee game, I checked my watch - time to return to work. I wasn't disappointed. It was only Wednesday which meant I had two more recesses that week, only next time, I decided to leave my watch on my desk.
