An ode to 2005

The year flew by, it went so fast
But we've had fun; it was a blast

New friends, new blogs, great posts all around
Our blogdom is growing by leaps and bounds

Birthdays and anniversaries we did celebrate
With balloons, candles and delicious cakes

Greif and pain also did cross
For the dear ones that some of us lost

Some tears and smiles, mistakes we survived
So was the year two thousand and five

A few days away is two thousand and six
Lets raise a toast for love, kindness and peace

May new year bring you health and happiness
